We offer 20 minute information sessions throughout the day and evening that provide you with an opportunity to  tour our facility, talk to our friendly staff and get your questions answered.

TBUB - TRY BEFORE YOU BUY & ONE WEEK FREE PASS

We offer a complimentary 90 minute training session for those who haven't tried our unique studio before and want to find out how it all works. Book your appointment by clicking on the link above and you will be trained on our FAT BLASTER program and get to try it out for a whole week FREE! We will adjust the fitness machines to fit you personally and review exercise technique and form with you. You will also find out what we offer to meet your goals with other personalized programs. There is no pressure to join at EFFEX 180! You've got nothing to lose!

BASIC FITNESS LAUNCH (1 hour 35 minutes)
EFFEX 180 makes getting started easy through our Basic Fitness Launch  designed to get you off to the best possible start whether you workout in a gym setting or at home. Through assessment and discussion with you about your baseline fitness scores and your needs the Lifestyle & Fitness Coach will design a personalized fitness plan that will help get you where you want to be!

Basic Service includes:
- Body measurements & weight

- Body mass index

- Basal metabolic rate

- Strength test

- Assessment of fitness level & goals

- Design of personalized fitness plan

- One-on-one training of the fitness program

 

PREMIUM FITNESS LAUNCH (2 hours 20 minutes)
Need more? Want to maximize your success? Increasing your fitness is the first step to improving your health and can help you lose fat, but when you are serious about realizing goals that include fat loss it is vital to monitor and make changes to your eating and other lifestyle habits. Let your coach help you identify areas that may sabotage your success and develop strategies to overcome them. Put your commitment to yourself in print. Our Lifestyle & Fitness Coach is who will help you get it right.

Premium service includes basic service plus:

- Personal plan SMART goals approach

- Personalized caloric guidelines by activity level

- Body fat measurement

- Printed assessment and plan for you to take home

 

 MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Choose from a 10 visit drop in pass, month to month, 12 month minimum commitment, as well as a number of short term options.
 

WHAT  SERVICES DO WE OFFER?

 

On the floor Assistance

Did you know that proper exercise technique is not only safer it is more effective in getting results. That is why at EFFEX 180 our friendly professional staff can help make sure you have adjusted  the weight machines correctly to fit you best as well as providing on the floor cues and guidance on technique, repetition range and advise on raising weight. All you have to do is ask!

 

PERSONAL LIFESTYLE & FITNESS COACHING Sessions

These one-on-one coaching sessions offer fitness and nutritional counsel, goal setting, follow up on your body assessment (weight & measurement, body fat etc.) motivational strategies as well as exercise review aimed at helping clients reach their fitness goals. You can choose which elements are most important to you at the time of the session. If you have had trouble getting in to do your workouts you may choose to focus on motivational strategies and goal setting as opposed to exercise. On the other hand you may be ready for a change in exercises - so that will be the focus. You may need some guidance with your diet to boost your results. Bottom line is you get to discuss with a coach  what is important to you in reaching your goals! 30 and 60 minute sessions are available. A 30 minute session each month is included in our Sapphire Memberships. This service is always available to non-members who are active in a home or other gym program but would like some guidance. 

 

Small group FITNESS CLASSES

You won't feel intimidated or lost in a crowd in our small group fitness classes. Try our Club Cardio for the Uncoordinated or our Killer ABS class. Visitors are welcome to drop in and your first class is FREE! Class schedule can be accessed from the home page.

 

NUTRITIONAL CLINICS

Led by a Lifestyle & Fitness Coach in a small group setting. A variety of topics are covered throughout the year, non-members welcome. Examples of topics include:

• Food Tracking - The How's and Why's
• Label Reading - What You Need to Know

• Temptations, Triggers and the Strategies to Win

• Your Body's Nutritional Needs

• Smart Snacking
• Eating on the Run

Fitness CLINICS

Led by a Lifestyle & Fitness Coach in a small group setting. A variety of opportunities to learn and participate in a new fitness activity.

Non-members welcome. Types of activities may include but are not limited to the following:

     Ladies outdoor fitness fun in the park
If you have ever been inspired to a take a boot camp but never followed through because
of the co-ed nature or because the  'survivor' type made you wonder if you would ever make it out alive - we have the perfect option for ladies who want to enjoy the outdoor workout. Starts soon so register before July 2nd!   

    runner's fitness pass
If you run or want to run, this is the class for you! It takes as little as 30 minutes each week to work the muscles that will support your running fitness level and excel while remaining injury-free.  Learn what fitness professionals know about what it takes. Check with the studio for schedule.    

     ACCELERATE FAT LOSS - Learn To Run

If you have ever wanted to run successfully and wish that you could try it with a small group of ladies only and have the guidance and support to succeed - you can count on our coaches!

     EQUIPMENT SPECIFIC CLINICS

Learn how to use a variety of specialty exercise equipment with skill so you can get the most out of it  e.g. kettle bells, free weights, bands & balls.

 

Non-members are welcome at all our clinics.

 

Group Coach Led Training Sessions

Sessions are available to both members and visitors in groups of 2-4
• Coach led training sessions

• Customized to fit your fitness level

• One hour sessions twice/week
• Personal or sport specific training

Drop In  Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30 pm
Cost: $5/class
Soothing music, precision stretches & breathing exercises in a stress releasing sequence. 

 

Killer ABS Classes
First time visitors are FREE!

Drop in Mondays 7 pm, Wednesdays 5 pm

Cost: $7/class or BUY & SAVE with a Killer Ab 10 Visit Pass for

ONLY $60

 

CLUB CARDIO for the Uncoordinated

First time visitors are FREE!

Drop in Fridays 5:00 to 5:45pm - See homepage for dates

Cost: $5/class

 

Zumba Classes

Dates: Sep 14 - Dec 7

Time: Tuesdays 5:00-5:45 pm

Cost: $10, BUY & SAVE with the Zumba 10 Visit Pass for ONLY $80
